The SRRS produces two publications:

• The Plumbline: SRRS's quarterly newsletter that features short-form research papers on different topics. Average paper length is around 1,500-2,000 words. B. Chris Ruli is the publication's editor.
• Heredom: SRRS' flagship research publication produced annually. Papers vary in topic and are typically around 4,000 words or more. Adam Kendall is the publication's editor.

Style Sheet

All submissions must conform to the SRRS Style sheet. A copy can be found with this link. Papers that do not conform to the guide may be returned to the author or declined.

AI Acknowledgement

Author acknowledges that they have not utilized any Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools including LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude to produce or translate their work. Grammar-checking software is acceptable ONLY as a tool and not a solution; a judicious approach is required.

Media Acknowledgement

Author acknowledges that they have secured all necessary permissions to reproduce media for their submission. SRRS editors may request proof of permissions at any time and reserve the right to decline any proposed media for publication. SRRS is not responsible for any costs associated to seeking media reproductions and will not reimburse authors for any previous costs.

IMPORTANT: In addition to permissions, it is the responsibility of the author to obtain proper publication credits from the institution (or give full details from public domain sources such as Wikimedia). The editors will not locate the images or obtain rights for the author from these sites.

Prior-publication Acknowledgement

The author acknowledges that they have not published this paper in any other publication. Note: the SRRS may accept previously published papers, but written permission from the editor of the original publication and Heredom is required.
